Brilliant Costing Model
We charge only 5.5% (incl VAT) of whatever money is received from the medical aids and patients and not on the total money claimed like other bureaus.
The Process
- We provide new clients with detailed documentation on billing guidelines and meet with them in person to discuss any questions they may have.
- If not already done, new doctors have to register their banking details with each medical aid. This involves quite a bit of admin, but since it is a once off task, we take care of it, at a minimal fee. The following is required:
– 15 Signed practice letterheads stating you are the holder of the bank account.
– 2 Copies of your BHF certificate.
– 15 Original certified copies of your ID document
– 15 Original signed bank letters. - The claims process involves patient and consultation details to be sent to ServQual Med via any electronic means that the doctor is happy with. We save the patient data, create the claims and the claims are then submitted to the medical aid at the highest rates possible.
- Follow-ups and resubmissions are done if any problems are encountered via email and telephonically.
- All medical aids will be given our email address, making it easy for us to follow up and cross check statements against claimed accounts.
- If the claim response comes back stating patient liable, contact will be made with patient and a statement will be emailed or faxed accordingly.
- We will provide the patient with the doctors banking details and will request proof of payment to be emailed to us.
- After a certain window, we outsource all accounts unpaid by patients to our partner, Nicol Davis & Associates PTY LTD, and they assist in retrieving the accounts and taking a commission on their side.
- Any other extra admin or requirement of the doctor is always escalated and dealt with asap by the Chief Manager himself.
- An audit trial and month end statement will be forwarded to the doctor around the 20th of each month.
